Ding Lava harks back to the modernist statement - form follows function. The conical base is an immediately heavy foundation, the steel stem is the axis of support, and the profiled edge table top with its natural texture provides the slender working surface.
Lava stone is formed when lava solidifies as it comes into contact with water or air. A resulting characteristic of this natural process is the large pores in the stone with other minerals and crystals often embedded within. This natural, irregular life of the stone is to be celebrated.
Ding seats up to 3 people and is suitable for dining and meeting environments.
Table top and base made from Lava stone, machined and hand polished. Black powdercoated steel support. Top fixed with countersunk stainless steel screw.
