E-Mars Pendant

A simple sphere illuminating downwards is elevated by a single design gesture - an acrylic prism splitting the sphere, revealing the luminous heart, and shedding light as a vertical plane.

Mars is made from cast diatomaceous earth and metallic minerals using Nongzao’s Raw Earth technique, and is available in two sizes. Suitable for residential and commercial environments. Available in Earth Orange or Earth Brown.

Nongzao’s Raw Earth technique transforms discarded earth from construction excavation into useful and desirable objects, with the hope of inspiring reflection on environmental issues and our use of natural resources.

Retaining the authentic warmth and richness of the soil’s natural texture, the Raw Collection is unfired and without synthetic additives, thus substantially reducing the energy required for production and enabling the material to be easily broken down to its natural state.
