Fameg are based in Radomsko, Poland and are one of the original factories founded by the Thonet family, producing high quality bentwood furniture for over 130 years.
During the mid 1800’s, Michael Thonet devised a new wood bending process which allowed for the creation of delicate, seamless timber forms that were as durable as they were beautiful, revolutionising the design and production of furniture. With this new generation of furniture proving to be hugely popular, the Thonet brothers established several factories in central Europe, including the Radomsko factory in 1881.
Fameg has maintained its global reputation for excellence by preserving and building on the traditional processes and craftsmanship.
