Shipping & Delivery
Our goal is to deliver your order in the most timely and cost-effective way possible Australia-wide. Shipping charges are automatically calculated at the checkout. Items will be despatched within 3 business days after the order is fulfilled and payment received.
As soon as you place an order with Remodern you will receive an order confirmation email. Should you spot any mistakes in relation to your order [for example, an incorrect delivery address] please email us immediately at email@example.com. Once the order has been processed, you will receive another email confirming despatch as well as the relevant details for tracking your delivery.
All orders will be processed within 3 business days [excluding public holidays] of the order being entered into our system.
Should your item(s) not be available for any reason, you will be contacted immediately.
Your Delivery Address
Please ensure that the delivery address is correct, as we are unable to redirect orders once they are on their way to you. Prior to despatch of your order, we may need to confirm your details with your card issuer. We will do our best to keep delays to a minimum.
Standard delivery times are during business hours Monday to Friday [excluding Public Holidays]. Online purchases made on weekends and public holidays will be processed on the next business day.
Depending on your location, delivery will be within 5-10 business days for items In stock. Delivery to remote areas may take longer but our aim is to deliver your order as quickly as possible.
Delivery Service – Post or Courier
Delivery will be via post or courier and costs will be calculated based on weight and distance at the checkout. Oversized orders are delivered via specialised carrier. In most cases, these specialised carriers will call you prior to delivering your order to arrange a convenient delivery time during business hours. All orders will be delivered either kerbside or to the building's loading dock, if available.
For delivery to remote areas, we may be required to obtain a quote separately, and in this instance we will contact you directly.
If you require extra services such as a delivery appointment or to arrange receipt of your order to a location other than a ground floor address, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Special delivery arrangements may incur an extra fee.
Delivery & Assembly Service – Courier & Assembly
This service includes delivery by a specialized courier who will deliver, unpack, assemble and dispose of all packaging materials. As every project is unique, charges are determined on a job-by-job basis, with the service available across the Melbourne metro area. Please email email@example.com to request a quotation.
Warehouse Pick Up
Orders can be collected during business hours from Remodern by prior appointment only.
Simply select the “Pick up” option at checkout. When you complete your payment we will send you an email confirmation that will also inform you when your order is ready for collection. Purchases must be collected within 7 days of collection notification.
When picking up your item(s), you will be required to supply a copy of your order confirmation, photo ID and credit card used to make the purchase. If you pay via PayPal, your credit card is not required.
Please ensure that your vehicle has the capacity to accommodate your purchased products. Remodern will not accept any responsibility and is not liable for any loss, damage, cost, expense or injury you or any third party suffer related to any purchased product once the item(s) has been collected.
Signature On Delivery
All orders require a signature upon delivery. Please nominate a delivery address where the item can be delivered and signed for during normal business hours. You can also nominate to have your order delivered to your place of work or other if you prefer.
If there is no one available to receive the order within the specified timeframe or where the courier cannot complete the delivery due to limited or unsafe access, a delivery note from the courier will be left with further instructions. You may be liable for redelivery charges.
Some products require simple assembly. Included with each product is a set of instructions illustrating the assembly process, accompanied by specialized assembly tools [if required]. If you require further assistance with assembly, please contact us.
Remodern will cover the insurance of your purchase during the time it is in transit until it is delivered to you. We require a signature for any goods delivered, at which point responsibility for your purchased goods passes to you. If you have specified a recipient who is not you for delivery purposes [for example as a gift] then you accept that evidence of a signature by them [or at that delivery address] is evidence of delivery and fulfilment by Remodern and transfer of responsibility in the same way.
