Liang Ceramic Bench

Liang capitalises on the strength and stability of its triangular cross-section to reduce weight while creating a visually engaging form. An extruded triangular module is spliced together into a linear or Y shaped bench configuration, available with a concrete or exposed ceramic aggregate finish.

The cremic's industry in Chaozhou, China, produces 70% of ceramic commodities used globally. Unable to keep up with the waste created, recycling plants in Chaozhou have become mountains of unprocessed ceramic waste fragments.

As a result of an in-depth analysis into Chaozhou and the ceramics industry, Bentu's use of ceramic waste in their products aims to highlight the significant impact the industry has on the local communities, waste produced and proposes a more effective way to reuse porcealin waste.
